Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck make it Insta-official

As if there were any questions over whether Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are dating, the couple has now made their relationship status crystal clear. It doesn’t get much more solid than sharing a loved-up photo on the 'gram. The pair marked de Armas’ 32^nd birthday this week and the celebration came with a new social media gallery. It almost feels strange seeing them without coffee cups,their dogs and a car in front of them, right?Affleck and de Armas took a break from their heavily paparazzied coffee runs in Los Angeles to escape somewhere in the desert and celebrate the Cuban-born actress’ birthday. The new couple were featured in two of the shots, with both pictures showing the pair lovingly embracing. A room full of balloons capped off the birthday decorations for what looks to be a party of two. “Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and love! Cheers to another great year,” wrote de Armas in both English and Spanish.

In a second Instagram post, Affleck can be heard encouraging de Armas as she swings a stick at a birthday piñata. No surprise, the guy who directed the Oscar-winning Argo framed the shot beautifully and included a slow-mo reveal once the piñata finally broke open.

This isn’t the first time Affleck has popped up on de Armas’ Instagram page though. On March 17, she posted a series of photos of herself taken at the beach. Affleck slid into the comments asking for photo credit and adding a laughing face emoji. Sure, it’s a beautiful collection of shots, but were pretty confident in saying that de Armas doesn’t take a bad picture. Paparazzi captured the pair at the beach, showing Affleck keeping his camera directed at his photogenic new girlfriend.Affleck and de Armas first met last year while filming the big screen adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s Deep Water. Playing husband-and-wife in the psychological thriller, Affleck and de Armas reportedly kept things professional on set but dating rumours began swirling once production had wrapped and the pair were spotted together in de Armas’ hometown of Havana, Cuba. Since then, the couple have been photographed almost daily going on walks in Affleck’s Los Angeles neighborhood, leading many to criticize the pair for their high frequency of public outings.One person who apparently is not critical of the pair—Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
