Life just got a bit more expensive for Adele. The iconic ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer will reportedly be reaching deep, deep into her pockets after splitting with her husband of just two years, Simon Konecki. The couple, who were together for six years before secretly tying the knot in 2018 at what was alleged to have been a Titanic-themed party to celebrate Adele’s 30th birthday, are said to have separated just 11 months after the wedding. In true celebrity “first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes alimony” fashion, Adele is said to be looking at a possible postnuptial bill to the tune of £77 million — or around half of her £144 million net worth. In Canadian dollars: that $250 million. (Also known as: Ouch.)A source for the British tabloid The Sun claims that Adele has won the right to keep information and details about the legal dissolution of marriage out of the media, but certain items regarding the potential settlement seem to have surfaced. Like the astronomically high aforementioned bill, for example. Many reports also state that the couple did not feel the need to bother with a prenuptial agreement.[video_embed id='1388625']RELATED: Adele celebrates 30 with a Titanic-themed birthday party[/video_embed]The recent ruling means that the teams of lawyers and money experts likely employed by both Adele and her ex could be asked to sign non-disclosure agreements when the divorce is finalized, barring them from talking about ‘financial, sales or other confidential business information’ as it pertains to the division of assets and cash. “They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues,” said The Sun’s unnamed source.Rumours about Adele’s love life have circulated since her separation, including a persistent story linking her to grime musician and fellow Tottenham native, Skepta. The only real evidence, however, are a few social media posts that could be interpreted as flirtation or simple mutual fandom.[video_embed id='1933676']BEFORE YOU GO: The Rock just released the best hand washing video ever[/video_embed]
