Aaron Carter says he's 'devastated' and 'lost everything' after latest court hearing

Aaron Carter was in court on Tuesday, and things didn't go the way he had hoped. In fact, the latest development in the legal drama involving Aaron and his estranged siblings has sent him spiralling once again.Aaron, who has been in the news as of late for his deteriorating health, took to Instagram to share what went down during the court hearing. "I am devastated by what happened in court today," Aaron wrote on his Instagram Stories. "My sister lied over and over in an effort take away my 2nd Amendment rights and she did it on behalf of my brother to silence me talking about how he raped and sexually assaulted multiple women." If you recall, singer Melissa Schuman alleged she was raped by the Backstreet Boys member years ago but because the statute of limitations expired, the sexual assault charges were dropped. Aaron, however, continually brings it up, often tagging Schuman in posts and using hashtags that refer to the allegations. Schuman even attended Tuesday's hearing alongside Aaron.Aaron's statement continued, "I will abide by the judge's order, but I will not stop speaking on behalf of victims such as Melissa Schuman. I am saddened by my family and what they have done to me. Your lies have broken my heart." He added on Twitter afterwards, "Lost my court case... lost everything... gotta move ASAP."

According to TMZ, the judge extended his twin sister Angel's restraining order against Aaron, and he can't be in contact with her or her family for a year. But the gossip site reported that things really got heated when Aaron was ordered to surrender his weapons because the former child star was deemed "too dangerous" to own firearms. Carter reportedly screamed at the judge that he would just go to a different state and purchase more guns.It's not the first time Carter was ordered to surrender his firearms, though according to Us Weekly, he reportedly relinquished two of his rifles to officers back in September, as a sign of "good faith." If he doesn't this time, however, TMZ reports that "the judge could hold him in contempt and throw him in jail." And while, yes, Aaron should definitely not be allowed to keep an arsenal of weaponry in the condition he is in, prison doesn't seem to be the answer either.A couple of days before the hearing, Aaron seemed hopeful.

But as the court date neared, the realization may have hit that he might be on his own for a bit.
