Feel like you’ve been missing out on Minaj lately? We have good news for you…more Minaj is on the way–but like we’ve never seen her before. Nicki Minaj, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, took to Twitter earlier today to reveal an upcoming docuseries that promises to give fans an inside look at the famous rapper’s life. This news arrives at a perfect time, as today marks the 10th anniversary of her debut album (OG fans will surely remember) 'Pink Friday.' In case you need a refresher, MTV shared a memorable moment from her 2010 ‘My Time is Now’ documentary which helped to shed light on her creative process and career. Minaj’s latest docuseries has been ordered by HBO Max and will reportedly consist of 6 episodes. Even better? Michael John Warren, the creative force behind her 'Nicki Minaj: My Time Now' in 2010 (tied to Pink Friday) and 'Nick Minaj: My Time AGAIN' documentaries, is set to direct the project. Minaj herself is set to executive produce alongside Warren, Cassandra Butcher, Brenda Gilbert, Aaron L. Gilbert, Irving Azoff, and Tommy Bruce. In her reveal, Minaj (whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj) donned a striking orange wig and promised fans a “raw, unfiltered look at her personal life and professional journey.” Unsurprisingly, the internet is thrilled at the news, with Minaj’s fans (also known as Barbz) showering her announcement with support. Minaj also encouraged fans to listen back to some of her trademark classics in lieu of the news, including ‘Moment 4 Life’, and ‘Superbass’. Nicki, you don’t have to tell us twice. The debut album was notably No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and logged six weeks atop Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2011. Minaj’s recent work on the track, “What That Speed Bout!?” featuring Mike Will Made It and YoungBoy Never Broke Again recently opened at No. 35 on the chart, which brings her career total to 114 Hot 100 hits. ICYMI, this makes her the female artist with the most placements of all time.[video_embed id='2080302']RELATED: 'Wonder Woman 1984' is moving to HBO Max.[/video_embed]
