Megan Fox and MGK aren’t getting married any time soon

Like Ross and Rachel, these two are “on a break.”

They wore vials of each other’s blood around their necks. They talked publicly about their sex life. Heck, their red carpet appearances were basically NSFW. And now, a new report suggests that the engagement between Jennifer’s Body star Megan Fox and rapper Machine Gun Kelly is not only definitely off, but chances of a reconciliation are looking grim.

An insider is revealing that while they are still in contact, they're technically on a break, and it doesn’t look like the taboo-breaking pair is going to walk down the aisle any time soon (in case you were marking your calendars).

"They have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues," the source told Us Weekly. "Their relationship is pretty volatile at the moment. They are currently off, but still texting each other."

While MGK’s proposal to Megan was rather lavish, and headline-splashing, the two never actually set a date for their wedding.

“They are very hot and cold,” the source continued.

This probably isn't surprising to anyone following all the drama that has unfolded between the actress and the musician in the last little while.  Earlier this month, another insider gabbed to Us Weekly that the couple's status was "complicated."

"They're still working on the relationship because the love they had was the real deal. ... However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work," the insider dished.

Meanwhile, friends of the pair spoke to People after Megan showed up alone at the Oscar’s with a brand new hair colour (and attitude), and they’re all casting doubt on the longevity of the MF-MGK romance.

Things imploded between the actress and the “Bloody Valentine” singer when the Transformers star shared a since-deleted post to Instagram in February, implying that her fiancé had cheated.

"You can taste the dishonesty / It's all over your breath," she wrote, quoting lyrics from Beyoncé's, "Pray You Catch Me."

From there, Netizens did what they do best: speculate, and try to sleuth their way to the truth. Rumours online abounded that MGK had been unfaithful to Megan with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd. Megan did come out and say that wasn’t true, but didn’t go so far as to say what WAS true.

Cmon, Megan, we need to know! We need this spilt tea to live!

The Daily Mail reported last month that the estranged pair looked "visibly upset” while leaving a marriage counseling office. A source told People she was "very upset" after one of their arguments, and that things escalated to the point of no communication.

"[Megan and MGK] haven't officially called off the engagement, but Megan took her ring off," the source told the outlet, adding, "things seem pretty serious this time."

Megan has since de-activated her IG, deleting all posts.

For MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, he seems pretty torn up about it. While performing in Houston this month, he joked onstage that he should move to Texas because his "life is in shambles."
