Kim Kardashian says she's 'never' had lip filler -- here's everything we learned from her Allure cover feature

No, she doesn’t have lip filler or eyelash extensions, thank you very much.

The face that launched a thousand skin care lines, Kim Kardashian, graces the cover of the August issue of Allure, and she gets brutally honest in this interview about what work she’s had done to her face, her thoughts on aging, what she likes and doesn’t like about her body, and even those infamous eating-poop comments.

Decked out in epic platinum blonde braided extensions (and even in one photograph wearing a “top” made entirely of hair), she looks radiant as she dispels the rumours about her famous face.

Turns out, her blonde locks aren’t just chosen for whimsy – they make her feel a huge boost in confidence.

“I have different energy when I’m blonde, I’m a totally different person. I’m sassier. I’m more confident as a blonde,” she tells the magazine. “As soon as I go back to brunette, I’m a boss.”

“I’m also a totally different person when I have long, fake nails on. I have so much confidence — and I hate long nails!” she adds. “Every once in a while, I need that bitchy-boss energy. But when I have to write an essay, I’m like, ‘Get these nails off me!’ I can’t type.”

At 41, we might be mistaken that she’s even more stringent with her beauty regime, but as she tells it, she’s accepting of the way her face and body have aged, because being a mom and being healthy are more important to her these days.

“I’m at peace with not being perfect and I wasn’t like that before,” she admits. “I hate my hands — they’re wrinkly and gross. But I’ve lived life and I’ve changed so many diapers with these hands and I’ve snuggled my babies with these hands, so I’m okay with them.”

“[Getting older] doesn’t mean that I won’t strive for perfection, but you get to a point where you’re like, ‘Okay, my health is more important than anything else.’”

Speaking of not being perfect, she also debunks the myth that she’s had extensive cosmetic procedures in order to maintain her facial symmetry and perfect booty. Admitting only to “a little bit of Botox” between her eyebrows, but “no filler,” she totally shocks us when she claims, “I’ve never had eyelash extensions. I’ve never done anything. I’ve never filled my cheeks. I’ve never filled my lips.”

Then what sorcery is behind your skin, Kim? What face cream? We need the answers on our desk by 9AM, we are having none of this!

If you’re wondering if the secret ingredient is poop, you’re not dreaming, because she did tell The New York Times she would eat it (first of all, ew. Secondly, EW EW EW) if it would make her look younger. She addresses that too, saying, “I was kind of joking, but now that I think about it, I would probably eat s*** if someone told me, ‘If you eat this bowl of poop every single day, you’ll look younger.’”

She then thinks better of it, and tempers her reply with, “Maybe just a bite. I don’t think I can do a whole bowl.”

Her body has always been a topic of conversation for as long as she’s been in the public eye, but recently she faced a wave of criticism for dropping 16 pounds in three weeks in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress for this year’s Met Gala. As she tells it, she can’t understand the haterade when she did it safely and under supervision.

“If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that’s not a good message," the SKIMS founder and The Kardashians star said. "But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life.”

"I don’t see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles — they are [considered] geniuses for their craft,” she clapped back.

She also went into detail about how careful she was when handling the dress, especially after rumours online suggested she had damaged the historic garment.

“It was a roller coaster of emotions. To even find the dress was a feat, and then to get them to allow me to wear the dress was another feat,” she explained. “You have [to wear] gloves and there are guards and you had to put down special paper. I think [the dresser] was shaking because if anything rips, if anything goes wrong, you know? This is Marilyn’s dress. And it absolutely did not fit. Two weeks before [the Met Gala], I was 10 pounds down and I was so proud of myself. Then I got down 15 [pounds] and it fit. I couldn’t believe it.”

As the interview progresses, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star calls herself the “underdog” for being on a reality TV show that isn’t well respected. The interviewer pushes back on that, pointing out that Kim K is reportedly a billionaire and will want for nothing for the rest of her life. Kimberly admits that, should all of her fame and fortune dry up, what’s important to her is just to be remembered as a decent human being.

“It would be amazing to retire being Kim K and just be a lawyer. But if it all went away, I would be just as happy,” she tells the outlet. “I would want people to walk away and be like, ‘She was a good person, and she did some good things.’”

The Allure shoot was photographed by fashion photographer Danielle Levitt. Styled by Kyle Luu, set designed by Cooper Vasquez, and produced by Isaac Feria. Hair by Chris Appleton, and makeup was done by her longtime makeup artist and friend Mario Dedivanovic.

Kim wears a SKIMS bodysuit on the cover, and other photos feature her in a skintight nude Alaïa bodysuit and matching gloves, a Bvlgari bracelet and watch, plus metallic silver Paris Texas heels. She also sported a  strapless black Schiaparelli Haute Couture corset bodice, a fitted black Schiaparelli Haute Couture skirt and a pair of black Jimmy Choo boots.
