Everything we know about Sasha Obama's new boyfriend

On April 19th, former FLOTUS Michelle Obama appeared on The Ellen Show and let it slip that her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, were not only living on their own, they’ve also got boyfriends.

“They loved the Jonas Brothers. Now they are bringing grown men home!” she exclaimed, noting how quickly her daughters have grown up before her eyes.

“Before it was just, like, pop bands. Now they have boyfriends and real lives,” she added.

Now we know a little bit more about who Sasha is dating, and he is the son of a movie star. We would expect no less!

The Daily Mail has obtained paparazzi photos of Sasha strolling through LA with her beau, Clifton Powell Jr (who sometimes goes by ‘CP3’ which we absolutely love). The outlet is reporting that the pair allegedly started seeing each other last August when Sasha transferred from the University of Michigan to USC.

CP3 comes from the same famous stock as Sasha, as his father is actor Clifton Powell, who has appeared in such beloved films as Ray opposite Jamie Foxx and Rush Hour. CP3 is a former college basketball star but he is taking a page out of his famous father’s book and has started working for commercials, albeit behind the scenes. He’s been the commercial director for brands like Nike and Peloton.

TMZ has gotten their hands on a personal photo of the couple canoodling and wrapping their arms around each other. ADORBS.

Eldest daughter Malia Obama, on the other hand, has been dating Rory Farquharson since 2017.
