If you are not vaccinated, you can’t sit with Jennifer Aniston

There are lots of benefits to getting the COVID-19 vaccines: protecting yourself, protecting your family and friends, but most of all, hanging with Jennifer Aniston. The Friends alum and star of The Morning Show said in the new September issue of InStyle that she’s cut a few hanging threads in her life because they refused to get vaccinated, or refused to disclose their vaccination status.

That’s right, fam. If you don’t get your jab, you and Jen will be on a break. Permanently.

“There's still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don't listen to the facts. It's a real shame,” she told InStyle.

“I've just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate.”

She continued, “I feel it's your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we're not all podded up and being tested every single day.”

She also noted that she can understand different beliefs, but she questions the basis for those beliefs. “It's tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don't feel based in anything except fear or propaganda,” she said.

This isn’t the first time the Golden Globe winner and reigning Queen of Instagram has vocalized her thoughts on our personal responsibility when it comes to flattening the curve.

In July of 2020, she shared a photograph of her friend Kevin, sick in hospital with COVID, writing, “This is Covid. This is real,” and noting that he didn’t have any underlying conditions prior to falling ill with the disease.⠀

“We can't be so naive to think we can outrun this,” she captioned the post. “If we want this to end, and we do, right? The one step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask.”⠀

“Just think about those who've already suffered through this horrible virus. Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages.”

She ended the post by assuring fans that Kevin had almost fully recovered by the time the photo was posted, and that Kevin gave her permission to share it.

The InStyle cover story also contained quite a few juicy soundbites from the Along Came Polly and Cake star. According to her, she has never heard of celebrity-gossip Instagram DeuxMoi (“What is Deuxmoi?” she asks, and you just know DeuxMoi is going to have a field day with that), and she also denied any rumours that she has created a dating profile on the exclusive dating app Raya.

“Who did not ask me if I was going to go on Raya?” she quipped. “Who would? Here's the thing. These so-called anonymous places where so-called well-known people can go … I guess the reason well-known people go is because the people in the well-known areas don't discuss well-known people. Please. No.”
