Is the Bennifer romance real or is it just a recreation of 'Jenny From The Block' music video?

We really, *really* want to believe that the Bennifer 2.0 romance is real but something just doesn't add up. Are Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez trolling us by recreating numerous scenes from the "Jenny From the Block" music video or are they truly head over heels for each other again?

This blast from the past —2002 to be exact— seems too good to be true and we're not saying we have trust issues, but the music video's 20th anniversary is literally right around the corner. 

Some fans are not fooled by the rocks that she got because they have been pointing out that JLo could be recreating the music video with all their new PDA moments captured by the paparazzi.

It all began when TV writer Caissie St.Onge pointed out the similarities and now everyone is scratching their heads.

"J.Lo & Ben Affleck aka Bennifer Againifer, aka Jenjamin Lofleck, are giving us a shot-for-shot remake of her iconic video for 'Jenny from the Block' for the song’s upcoming 20th anniversary," she wrote in a caption before examining all of the evidence that has been right in front of our eyes.

The first suspiciously similar image was caught in early May when Ben and Jen were pictured riding in a car together in Montana and photographed sharing a kiss in the front seat. This was similar to the scene of the pair reading a tabloid magazine while being well aware the paparazzi were watching them in the music video. This was their first weekend getaway together that sparked all the rekindled romance rumours.

People on social media were zooming in on Ben's watch from the balcony photos in Miami in May which looks like the same piece that the Batman V Superman actor wore during the "Jenny from the Block" music video.

The couple was also photographed on the balcony and peering out of the window while the paparazzi snapped their every move — just like the music video.

Then came that Nobu dinner date in June where the couple was joined by JLo's sister, Lynda Lopez, and twins Max and Emme for dinner celebrating Lynda's birthday.

"They enjoyed a Sunday family dinner together," a Nobu source said at the time of the "small birthday celebration," where "everyone seemed great and had fun."

They said that Bennifer sat next to each other "and were very affectionate," adding that they "held hands under the table."

Ben and JLo were caught kissing at the table during the romantic dinner, which gave us flashbacks to the same photos there were snapped in the music video. It was their first public kiss since reconnecting and St. Onge focused on the placement of everything at that dinner, including the angle the paparazzi were shooting from.

"Very similar to the shots of B & J at dinner being secretly shot by paps in JFTB vid! Jen even seems to be wearing a similar up/down hairdo," St. Onge added.

Everything is pointing to the music video but we were all waiting to see if they would recreate THAT yacht scene. Well, well, well... didn't they do EXACTLY that for JLo's birthday over the weekend.

You know, that scene where the couple is on a yacht and Ben has his hand all over JLo's derrière, while the paparazzi snap the pics? That's the one and we have the evidence.

The "couple" recreated the kissing balcony scene from the music video while celebrating JLo's 52nd birthday on the yacht in St. Tropez over the weekend too.

Oh, and there's also this video captured of the couple listening to THE SONG.

Does life imitate art? Sometimes... but if Bennifer is actually subconsciously reenacting every scene from the music video without realizing it, they must have been hypnotized?

Either this is Ben's biggest acting gig yet or they could be "going strong" as many insiders report. Are they in love and also recreating the music video? It could be a possibility.

While it remains unclear whether the speculation is true, we encourage everyone to watch the "Jenny From the Block" music video and catch all the vintage Bennifer vibes for further investigation.
