Bob Odenkirk is in the hospital and under the care of doctors after collapsing on the set of Better Call Saul. According to TMZ, which first reported the news, his condition remains unknown at time of press.

The 58-year-old actor was filming the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spinoff in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when he collapsed. Crew members responded immediately and it’s unclear what caused the actor to go down or whether he was conscious when he was rushed to the hospital.

Several other publications have since confirmed the news, and the actor’s wife and manager, Naomi Odenkirk, referred questions to his publicists, who have not yet commented on the situation. Meanwhile, fans everywhere are holding Odenkirk in their thoughts.

After stealing the show as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad, Odenkirk returned to the character for the Better Call Saul prequel spinoff tracing the character’s origin story. In five seasons, Odenkirk has had four Emmy nominations for lead actor in a drama.

Hours before his collapse, Odenkirk was on Twitter promoting other actors’ projects, including Allison Tolman’s run in the second season of her Paramount series, Why Women Kill.

The final season of Better Call Saul is currently scheduled to air next year, although it’s unclear how far along in production the series was when Odenkirk collapsed, or how this may affect the show going forward.

In addition to starring and executive producing that series, the performer recently starred in director Ilya Naishuller’s crime drama Nobody, in which he plays an action hero of sorts.

“I was at the wonderful 87eleven gym, surrounded by the top stunt actors in the world training, including people like Keanu Reeves and Jason Statham and Halle Berry,” Odenkirk told Variety of getting in shape for the part. “I’m a comedy writer, who is gradually sufferingly making my way into this discipline. I was just feeling embarrassed at how bad I was when these pros are 25 feet away.”
