Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is receiving a royal welcome. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child arrived safely into this world on June 4th, and the couple made the news public on Sunday, June 6th.

Now the world is reacting, and that includes some major congratulations and well-wishes from the world of celebrity, royalty and even fictional royalty.

Talk show host Ellen Degeneres, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William, William Shatner, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson all took to social media to herald the arrival of “Lili” who is named after both her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth and her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

“Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of Lilibet Diana!” Queen Elizabeth’s official Royal Family Instagram account posted, along with a photo of Harry and Meghan on their wedding day.

“The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news,” the statement continued. Lilibet is Her Majesty’s 11th great-grandchild.”

Harry reportedly called his grandmother before the baby was born to ask for her blessing to name his daughter after her. "Lilibet" is a family nickname for Queen Elizabeth, playing off the pronunciation of her name.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, also went out of their way to congratulate Harry and Meghan, despite recent strains to their relationship.

“We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili,” they wrote on Instagram, along with the first official photos of baby Lili. “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”

The heir to the British crown, Prince Charles, also congratulated his son.

“Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana,” The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall tweeted along with a confetti ball emoji. “Wishing them all well at this special time.”

From the far-off land of Genovia – which counts as a real nation in our books – The Princess Diaries author Meg Cabot tweeted out an official statement from HRH Princess Mia Thermopolis. Anyone else dying for Princess Diaries 3?

Celebs positively gushed about the news with Ellen Degeneres, William Shatner, and photographer Misan Harriman (who took the first official photographs of little Lili with her parents) taking to Twitter to express their well wishes.

“I am more than a Lilibet excited to meet you,” Ellen joked. Ah, good one.

Even MTV’s Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino got in on the action by retweeting a couple "celebrity birth announcement" posts that still had him and wife Lauren as the thumbnail image from their May 27 announcement.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson also tweeted congratulations.

Former ITV morning show host Piers Morgan continued to commit to his seemingly one-sided feud with the royal couple and tweeted, “To those asking for my reaction to the new royal baby, I am respecting her parents' constant pleas for privacy and declining to comment.”
