Naomi Campbell is a mom! She revealed the exciting news on Instagram while sharing a sweet photo of her holding her baby’s feet in the palm of her hand.

“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother,” the 50-year-old supermodel captioned her post on Tuesday. “So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

Many of Campbell’s A-lister friends shared supportive messages in the comment section of the adorable photo.

"Many many many congratulations to you and to your family," Jodie Turner-Smith wrote, "the village that will now rally around you and support you in cultivating that little angel!!!! what an incredible blessing!!! 💞💞💞"

"Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around. ❤️❤️❤️" Marc Jacobs added.

“Omg!! Congrats mama! Love you🥳♥️♥️,” Campbell’s Star on-screen daughter Ryan Destiny wrote.

“❤️❤️❤️ oh my goodness congrats lady! What a blessing!!!” Zoe Saldana commented.

“👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Andy Cohen added.

In May 2017, Campbell told the Evening Standard that she had thought about becoming a mother but wasn’t in a rush. "I think about having children all the time," she said then. "But now with the way science is, I think I can do it when I want."

In October 2019 Campbell told WSJ. Magazine that she didn’t see kids in her future just yet. "Not yet — I'll see what the universe brings me,” she said.

Campbell sparked adoption rumours in May 2019 when she posted a photo with a baby on Mother’s Day. She then had to explain to her Instagram followers that the picture was from an orphanage visit in Lagos and she did not adopt a child.

Campbell previously said that 2021 would be "an amazing year," and now we can totally understand why!
