She also said Bitcoin was a 'horrible' idea.

Actress Mila Kunis has been married to her That 70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher since 2015, and they started dating in 2012. In those 9 years, they have undoubtedly had a few disagreements – where should we take our vacation? Should we cook or order in? Normal couple stuff. Of course, they also quibble over money issues, except these convos are on another level. Like, Bitcoin level.

"The best part about [Ashton] is he is really smart about including me in everything and making sure that I am aware of everything that is happening," Mila told Stephen Colbert last night during her appearance on The Late Show. "He is also really smart at knowing that, sometimes, you shouldn't listen to your wife."

Mila explained that while today she is all about that AirBnb, Uber, Bitcoin life, back in the day, she was super skeptical of these new ventures.

“Early in our dating, two things came up. He was like, 'Hey, there's this company, it's kind of like a rideshare ... kind of like a cab company, but anybody can drive the cab,'" she explained. "I was like, 'That's the worst idea ever.'"

Having grown up with a father who was a cab driver, Mila balked at the idea of anyone getting to drive her around. "I was like, 'You're going to put me in a car with a stranger? What is wrong with you?' Like, I was furious at him," she laughed. Ashton went on to invest $500,000 in Uber and now he naturally has made... more than that.

"Second time, he sat me down and was like, 'Hey, Babe, I got to explain this thing to you, tell me if I'm crazy,'" Mila continued. "He's like, 'There's this thing, it's like mining for money. It's called cryptocurrency, and there's this company'—this is eight-plus years ago—'it's called Bitcoin.'"

“And I was like, 'Well, I think this is a horrible idea! And he went, 'Cool, we're investing in it.' So he didn't listen to me. I mean, this happens all the time."

Then Stephen said what we’re all thinking, “Wait so you guys went into Bitcoin eight years ago? Damn, girl! I can do math!”

In case you can’t do the math, a recent report stated that if you had invested a mere $100 in Bitcoin in 2009, today you would be able to buy around 1000 Bitcoins. Those 1000 Bitcoins are worth $48 million. You read that right. And we have a sneaking suspicion that Mila and Ashton invested just a smidge more than $100.

“I’ve never been happier to be wrong!” she told Stephen. We don’t doubt it.

Mila also chatted with Stephen about starring in Four Good Days with Oscar-nominee Glenn Close, and how she wasn’t sold on the movie until Glenn signed on to play her mom. Considering how much buzz her performance is garnering, we think Mila might have some major awards comes her way, on top of more Bitcoin.
