Travis Barker has finally broken his silence on his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian and spilled the tea on all the reasons why she’s the voice inside his head (a lil Blink-182 nod for all the fans out there).

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Blink-182 drummer said his relationship with the eldest Kardashian “comes natural,” and he admires that she’s also a single parent like him.

"I would date girls that didn't have kids and I find it kind of hard, because I think they have trouble understanding, well, 'Why don't you want to go to dinner every night with me?' or 'Why don't you want to see me every night?’” he explained.

“And now, I'm spending time with a woman who's, like, a great mom, who's, like, a great friend and you don't have to worry about any of those things, it just comes natural," Travis told Drew. “It's a maturity thing. And I also like missing someone and cherishing the time that I spend with them, instead of every day being with them — especially in the beginning of the relationship. I think missing someone's so important."

OH EM GEE, as if we needed to stan this couple any more than we already do.

Travis is father to Alabama, 15; Landon, 17; and 21-year-old step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya, who he raised since she was two years old with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kourtney shares her three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: Reign, 6; Penelope, 8; and Mason, 11.

Drew brought up the love note from Kourtney that Travis shared on his Instagram Story a couple of weeks ago. It read, “To lots of fun adventures, may we destroy each other completely. Love, Kourtney.” The actress joked that her version of the note would say, “Can we get to bed early and watch a movie?”

“I would prefer the opposite. I would prefer to, kind of, go [out] in the blaze of glory and ball of flames,” Travis responded.

Last month, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star confirmed their relationship when she shared a photo of them holding hands on Instagram. Travis reshared her Instagram post on his Stories and that's what you call Instagram-official, folks!

It's unclear how long the pair have been together but it's not an unusual match. Travis and Kourtney have been friends for 15 years and first met in 2006 when Barker was dating Paris Hilton and Kim K was her assistant/stylist/closet organizer. He actually encouraged the Kardashian to make their hit reality series after starring in his own family reality show, Meet The Barkers, in 2005. Will the beginning of their relationship play out in the final season of KUWTK? We'll have to wait and see when it premieres on March 18 on E!.

Reports about their rumoured relationship began after they both posted photos from Kris Jenner's Palm Springs house on Instagram. Kourtney posted a picture of a pool at sunset and Barker shared a similar image on his Instagram Stories. "They're in Palm Springs together,” a source said at the time. “They've been dating for about a month or two.” According to the source, Barker and Kardashian had “…been friends for a long time but it's turned romantic. Travis has liked her for a while.”

Kourtney and Travis are basically neighbours in Calabasas, California and they are both owners of their own lifestyle and wellness companies, making this is a match made in heaven.
