It looks like things are really working out for JLo and A-Rod. The couple was spotted kissing in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday in photos obtained by Daily Mail.
Lopez was photographed relaxing outside in a robe when A-Rod appeared through the sliding glass door of their luxurious digs. Rodriguez was wearing a mask when he entered the backyard before removing it so they could pack on the PDA.
The PDA-filled photos come after Page Six reported that the couple had broken up last Friday. Rodriguez cleared up the rumours by Saturday when he told TMZ that they were "working through some things," and added that he's "not single."
On Monday, Rodriguez flew to the Dominican Republic, where Lopez has been shooting the romantic Shotgun Wedding. "Alex flew to the Dominican Republic, and Jennifer was excited to see him in person," a source close to Lopez told People. "They want to spend time in person to figure out their life together."
"The past few days were upsetting and stressful," the Lopez source added. "She and Alex have a lot of issues they hope they can work through, but they both seem willing to do whatever it takes to stay together."
The source said that the couple has been "quietly struggling for some time" and revealed that Lopez has allegedly "been contemplating breaking up with Alex for six months."
JLo also addressed the breakup rumours separately in a video she posted to social media on Sunday. The video featured clips of the singer and a few headlines about their relationship. The video is set to Saweetie’s “Pretty B—ch Freestyle.”
It's also been made crystal clear that Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy has nothing to do with the troubles in paradise. A source confirmed to People that the alleged affair with LeCroy "had no bearing on the rough patch at all."
A separate insider said, “This was not caused by a third party. Madison [LeCroy] or anyone else. They are working through things.”
JLo told Allure last month that she and Rodriquez had gone to therapy together. "I miss being creative and running on 150," Lopez told Allure. "But Alex, of all people, was like, 'I love it. I love being at home. I love doing my Zooms. I love knowing the kids are there, and you're there all the time.' It has been actually really good."
"We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy," she explained. "I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship."
