It looks like there will be no wedding after all for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. Page Six reports that the couple has broken up two years after announcing their engagement.

JLo and Arod were last photographed together in the Dominican Republic last month, where the actress is filming her movie, Shotgun Wedding. It was also reported this week that the couple’s wedding was back on after postponing it *checks notes* twice!

Sources told Page Six that the couple was “on the rocks and headed for Splitsville.” The source informed the outlet of the breakup on Friday. “He’s now in Miami getting ready for baseball season, and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic,” the source added.

Lopez and Rodriguez announced their engagement in 2019 after dating for over two years. In December, Lopez told Access Hollywood that they cancelled their wedding due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“We’ve talked about so many different things ’cause we had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know,” Lopez said.

She also spoke to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's Radio Andy about postponing their wedding plans the same month.

"We've talked about that for sure. I mean, at our age, we've both been married before, it's like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us?" she said. "It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all. So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'This is maybe not going to happen.' Italy's the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. It was, yeah, it was like, I was like, 'OK, we got to cancel everything.'"

It remains unclear if Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy has anything to do with the split. In February the Bravo star revealed that she had a flirtation with Rodriguez during his relationship with Lopez. During the Southern Charm reunion, Craig Conover claimed that LeCroy once “flew to Miami to f–k an ex-MLB player.” She denied his claims, saying, “Give me a name! Put me on a lie detector test. I never flew to Miami. Where’s the record of that? That’s fake.”

LeCroy did admit that Rodriguez "contacted" her and they "DM'd," but she had "never physically seen him, touched him." LeCroy's co-star Danni Baird then went on the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast and said that she knew that LeCroy and Rodriguez "were FaceTiming or something."

LeCroy told Page Six that she had "never met up" with Rodriguez but they have "spoken on the phone."

“That’s the truth,” she said, adding that they’ve “never been physical...never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance. He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me."

Lopez and Rodriguez have not publicly commented on their breakup as of this writing.
