Hailey Rhode Baldwin Bieber is the first to point out that her full name is a mouthful. In fact, that’s the first thing she says in the first video of her brand-spanking new YouTube channel that just launched today. Created in partnership with Michael D. Ratner’s OBB Pictures, the same company behind Demi Lovato’s Dancing With The Devil documentary, Hailey introduces her channel as a way to speak directly to her fans, to debunk some myths and rumours surrounding her life, and to take control of the narrative surrounding her.

“The videos on the channel are going to be a bunch of different things,” she says in her introduction that is pinned to her YouTube channel, “ranging from skincare routine videos, to little travel blogs, to videos with my hair and makeup teams, from having friends on the show, playing some games, doing some challenges, to putting on tinfoil!” Spoiler alert: her first friend to make an appearance is none other than bestie and fellow supermodel Kendall Jenner.

“We're going to be debunking some very interesting and strange rumours that I’ve heard about myself,” she continues. “We're also going to be having some conversations about some things that I feel really passionate about that are very important to me, like politics, mental health, faith…. I really want to connect with all of you guys more.”

The first three videos are already available on her channel right now, and they include the very first episode of, “Who’s in My Bathroom?” where she and Kendall make mac n’ cheese in the john (as one does) and then play a game of “Never Have I Ever” over drinks. At one point during the frank convo about their friendship, they both burst into hysterics over the question “Never have I ever saved myself for marriage.”

Unable to speak through their choking laughs, Kendall even begins to cry-laugh, and Hailey jumps up to wipe the tears that have fallen on her shirt. We definitely know Hailey is married (‘sup Justin), but does Kendall have a marriage we don’t know about? At another point in their wacky convo, Kendall admits that her sister pulled a knife on her once. Wait, which sister? This should be good!

The other available video features Hailey’s daily makeup tutorial where she demonstrates the kind of serums, moisturizers, and facial massagers she uses.

Subsequent episodes are said to include footage of her glam team getting her ready for a fake red carpet event (thanks COVID!) featuring Maeve Reilly, hairstylist Jen Atkin and makeup artist Denika Bedrossian.

“With the YouTube channel, I get to control what’s going out there,” Hailey told Variety about her reasons for starting the channel. “I’m comfortable with every single piece of content going out, and that really feels freeing for me because I’m not in control of 90% of what’s talked about me and said about me and articles written about me. I don’t control that and I can’t control it, and I think I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve let that go.”

Variety is also reporting that Hailey will use her channel “to shine a light on politics and the Black Lives Matter movement,” and that she is very passionate about mental health awareness which will feature heavily in a future episode.

“We’re going to be having a conversation together surrounding social media and mental health,” she told the outlet about her conversation with psychiatrist Dr. Jessica Clemons in that upcoming video.
