It's like Harry Styles has been sent directly from the fashion gods and placed on this earth because he keeps blessing us with iconic fashion moments throughout November. The "Watermelon Sugar" singer is now rocking denim shorts, a.k.a. jorts, and it's all thanks to Gucci.Harry was photographed in the Gucci denim shorts showing off his thigh tattoo of a tiger head with a pastel pink t-shirt, and black loafers with his white socks pulled up around his mid-calf area. He wore the outfit for a cameo in Gucci's week-long fashion and film festival, GucciFest, spanning from November 16 to 22nd. The photos of the style icon are from a 10-minute video that's the third episode in a series titled Ouverture Of Something That Never Ended, for the festival directed by Gus Van Sant. Harry is featured in the episode called, At The Post Office, and he's on a "curious phone call" with an elegant gentleman, played by Italian art critic Achille Bonito Oliva. It all takes place around the 3:52 mark. Harry talks to the art critic while he's in the garden while using a Motorola Razr flip phone, and now I want to buy one.In the episode, Harry tells Achille that when it comes to making art, "it's about finding the thing that you've always wanted to see or you've always wanted to listen to, that has like never been made." He adds that it's always an "uncomfortable moment" when you "find the thing" because you don't know if you love it or hate it because you don't know what it is yet—Deep Harry, very deep. "You draw on things you've experienced in the past because it's your only reference point," the "Golden" singer adds.
Harry fans everywhere went wild over the Gucci look on Twitter. [video_embed id='2076866']RELATED: Harry Styles makes history on the front cover of Vogue[/video_embed]The jorts look comes after Harry wore Gucci in his history-making Vogue cover, which was released November 13. The cover of Vogue has largely featured women and men who have occasionally appeared alongside them. Still, Harry graced the cover of the publication solo, wearing a Gucci jacket and lace-trimmed dress. In his Vogue interview, the One Direction star said that clothes are “there to have fun with and experiment with and play with.” He said once you take away the idea that there are clothes for men and clothes for women, “you open up the arena in which you can play” by removing those barriers. “I’ll go in shops sometimes, and I just find myself looking at the women’s clothes thinking they’re amazing,” Harry said. “It’s like anything—anytime you’re putting barriers up in your own life, you’re just limiting yourself. There’s so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. I’ve never really thought too much about what it means—it just becomes this extended part of creating something.”Harry wore various outfits for his Vogue shoot, including a Wales Bonner knitted sweater vest and a kilted skirt and a zoot suit with a hoop skirt from Harris Reed. The cover shoot had many people talking, including conservative commentator Candace Owens who quoted the magazine's photos and voiced concern over the feminization of men. “There is no society that can survive without strong men,” Owens tweeted. “The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men.”Fans and friends of the star quickly defended him, such as Olivia Wilde and Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood, who told Owens that she "missed the definition of what a man is." Wood said that "masculinity alone does not make a man. In fact, it's got nothing to do with it." Zach Braff tweeted the picture of Harry in the Gucci gown and wrote, "Our whole lives boys and men are told we need to be manly. Life is short. Be whatever the f**k you want to be."Harry didn't respond to Candace's comments, but these new photos scream, "Don't like me in a gown? What about jorts?"[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Puppy works smart not hard to escapes gate[/video_embed]
