Cardi B sounds off on Instagram Live about those Offset pregnancy rumours

Since Cardi B announced her petition to divorce Migos rapper Offset last week, the internet has been rife with speculation, rumours, and whispers about what might have transpired between the on-again-off-again love birds after a three year tumultuous marriage. Yes, they briefly split in 2018 because Offset cheated, but after rumours abounded that Offset recently got another woman pregnant, Cardi B took to Instagram Live to set the record straight.“I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f*****g complete lie,” she said on Monday, September 21^st in an IG Live broadcast. “That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. Ain’t that about a b***h,” the colourful “WAP” rapper continued, “That is why I be telling y’all to stop believing… what people be saying, these blogs are saying, especially blogs that have a certain type of hatred towards me.”

She continued, saying that the rumours she is broken-hearted by the split are also false, and confirmed that cheating wasn’t involved here. Rather, she emphasized that the two simply grew apart. “This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s**t that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating.”“I just got tired of f*****g arguing,” she explained. “I got tired of not seeing things eye-to-eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave. Nothing crazy out of this world happened; sometimes people really do grow apart.”She added, “I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man… sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something bad happens, before you get left, before you get cheated on, you leave.”She capped off her Live broadcast by thanking all of her fans and her friends who have turned up for her during this difficult time. “I want to say thank you to everybody they've been showing me love. I'm great. I'm okay. I'm not down. I'm not devastated.
