One of the surprising but also amusing side effects of social distancing and quarantine has been the willingness of so many celebrities to open up about their personal lives on social media. Especially celebrity moms like
Drew Barrymore and
Kristen Bell, who are getting super real about some of the very relatable struggles. Another mom keeping it real? Jennifer Garner, who is guaranteed to make you smile with her new self-shot, self-directed, and self-edited laundry music video.
There are many feelings to be had while watching the brief film, in which Garner dances, drinks wine and does load after load of laundry while staring at the camera and bouncing in various outfits (including pajamas) to Daði Freyr’s “Think About Things.” At one point she also holds all of the cleaning supplies and seems defeated after her cat jumps out of her arms. “I don’t know why I thought you needed this,” she captioned the video on Instagram along with a shrug emoji. Because people deserve nice things, Jen. People deserve nice things.[video_embed id='1945911']RELATED: Mark Ruffalo shares sweet '13 Going on 30' tribute [/video_embed]And sure, not everyone has a gigantic laundry room like Garner does—if you didn’t know any better you might even think it’s a kitchen. (Jenna Rink would certainly be swooning.) But her plight of never-ending laundry, trying on different quarantine masks, and smelling items of clothing to tell whether they’re clean is super relatable for any parent with kids. Also relatable? That relaxed feeling she’s clearly emulating after finally pouring herself a glass of red and upping her dance moves ever-so-slightly. All in all her fans are definitely considering this a quarantine win.On the surface the mother-of-three’s self-isolating experience seems quite different than the one her ex-husband Ben Affleck is currently participating in with his new girlfriend Ana de Armas. Those two have faced criticism for their
matching necklaces and seemingly endless coffee runs, but at the end of the day they seem to be all about cheering up their fans and
sharing messages of love too.Meanwhile, when Garner’s not busy sharing questionable (yet adorable) white girl dance moves on Instagram, she’s been keeping plenty busy
trying out new recipes, learning to be
her own glam squad, and keeping up with her celebrity correspondence. It was only earlier this month that she sent Prince Harry and Meghan a sweet note (via Instagram, of course) after they shared a virtual celebration in
honour of Archie’s first birthday, and encouraged people to donate to the charities Garner started with Amy Adams.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: This dog shows mind-blowing restraint by holding a sandwich in its mouth [/video_embed]
