Few things have been making more noise than the recent news (and
confirmation!) that Gigi Hadid is expecting a child with her long-time, on-and-off-again beau, Zayn Malik. We all needed a little good news amidst quarantine life, and Zigi definitely provided. Seriously, the genetics this kid will have…
Of course, fans couldn’t help but wonder… what does former flame and
Bachelor Nation favourite Tyler Cameron think about it? As some might remember, the pair dated for about two months and officially split in the fall of last year — a very fleeting romance even by Hollywood standards. So, is he heartbroken? Was Gigi the one that got away? Or perhaps — as some
speculated — could he be the father of Gigi’s unborn baby?
While chatting with
Josh Cogen & the HomeTeam on
ESPN West Palm, Cameron addressed the recent report which detailed him ‘
drowning his sorrows’ over Gigi's baby news. It would seem, according to the handsome Bachelor alum, you can’t believe everything you hear.
“Two nights ago, we were celebrating my brother’s graduation party. We were doing karaoke. Next thing you know, Us Weekly is writing about me drowning my sorrows away because of the news about Gigi Hadid. If anything, I am excited for her, I am happy for her. She is going to be an incredible mother.”
He also clarified that no, he is most certainly not the father, and added that “she is going to be the most incredible mother. She’s a caring, sweet person and she’s going to be amazing.”

Cameron’s decision to ‘sing into an empty wine bottle’ with his best friend was, presumably, just that — a fun boy’s night karaoke sesh alongside his ‘quarantine crew’.Mind you, this isn’t the first time Cameron has found himself in the spotlight these days. Fans were quick to notice (and rejoice over) Hannah B’s decision to quarantine with Cameron and his crew last month, which once again sparked romance rumours between the pair. Surely, they can’t be just friends with chemistry like that — but fans have yet to receive any confirmation of a relationship.
Which leaves us to wonder, was Cameron in line for a
Bachelor in Paradise appearance or, perhaps, would he consider being
The Bachelor? We now know, both shows' previously planned seasons have been
postponed, but he addressed those rumours in his interview as well. Explaining, “I never say never. But right now, there are things I want to do in my life and my career goals that need to happen before that. I am in the middle of starting my own construction company right now. I want to get that running, I want to get that going. Maybe down the road that’s a thing, but right now, my own business plans are more important.”
