Gaga, Bradley, JHud added to list of Oscar performers

The host-less Oscars are slowly ramping up excitement leading to the February 24 broadcast of the biggest night in movies.

After a Variety report claimed that only two Oscar-nominated songs ("Shallow" from A Star is Born and "All the Stars" from Black Panther) would be performed during the telecast, people were not happy.

People like Original Song nominee Lin-Manuel Miranda who lamented that as a kid who was an Oscars fan that also loved musicals, he stayed up just to watch the performances.

UPDATE:

The Academy tweeted that the nominated song from Mary Poppins Returns would also be performed during the show on February 24 but stopped short at revealing just who would be taking the stage.

Two other perfomers have also been added to the show and will bring to life "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from the Coen Bros. movie The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Jennifer Hudson, an Oscar winner herself for Dreamgirls in 2007, was previously confirmed as a performer via a tweet from the Academy, sharing that the songstress will be singing "I'll Fight" from the Ruth Bader Ginsburg doc RBG.
