Korean pop group BTS may have just made a whole lot of new fans with their American TV debut at the AMAs, but they already had legions of loyal followers around the world -- including DJ Steve Aoki, who has a remix with the boys coming out later this week.

"I just hung out with the boys last night in L.A.," Aoki tells our Chloe Wilde in a new interview at Saks in Toronto celebrating the Canadian arrival of Aoki’s Dim Mak Collection. "We hung out, we did the Aoki jump, we're celebrating this Mic Drop remix release."

Mic Drop is a track off BTS' 2017 Love Yourself: Her album. Aoki's remix, featuring Desiigner, is set to be released Friday after a one-minute teaser went online last week.

"People are buzzing. Their social media around it, everyone's talking about it. And I'm super excited for everyone to hear the song," Aoki continues. "Because I have to say, my remix is just bangin'. It's so hard. It's so dope. And the boys love it."

It's not the only musical success Steve is enjoying these days! He's also been "floored" by the instant success around All Night, his collaboration wtih Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui.

Meanwhile, Steve also has a fan in Canadian icon Celine Dion. After providing a new beat to cap off Dion's performance of My Heart Will Go On during a benefit show in Las Vegas earlier this month, her enthusiastic dance moves onstage went viral!

"Her dancing is next level. She's the coolest human being on the planet, I'm not kidding," Aoki says. "She's like full of life... and when the drop came is when you see a different side of Celine you haven't seen...She's dope."

And Aoki's more than an (in-demand!) musician, as he promoted his new clothing line in Toronto.

"My style is inspired by Japanese design. I love Japanese designers. I follow them to a tee," he says. "I'm a punk and hardcore kid at heart... It's just easy to go back to what's so natural to me as a kid."
